Jessie Laverne Ainsworth Greene

RANGER- Jessie Laverne Ainsworth Greene of Ranger, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Ranger Care Center.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7th at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, Tx.

She was born in Gorman, Tx on April 27, 1938 to James Monroe and Lottie Mae Ainsworth. Jessie graduated from Ranger High School class of 1956.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James & Lottie Mae Ainsworth; and little brother, Roy Ainsworth.

Jessie is survived by her four children, daughter, Jeanette and Mark Simmons of Comanche; sons, James and Christine Greene of Brownwood, Jeff Greene of Abilene, and son, Jason and Teresa Greene of Brownwood, Tx. She has eleven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
