Mary Juanita (Grisham) Gann

EASTLAND – Mary Juanita (Grisham) Gann, 89, passed away Saturday December 21, 2019 in Abilene.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am Thursday, Dec. 26, 2019 at the Eastland City Cemetery. The family received friends Thursday, 10~11 am at Edwards Funeral Home.

She was born on January 30, 1930 to Frank & Reviele (Drake) Duffield in Eastland, TX. She graduated from Eastland High School in 1948. She married Eddie Roy Grisham in 1948. He preceded her in death in 2000. She married W. Leo Gann in 2003. He preceded her in death in 2008.

She was Director of Administration for the City of Eastland for many years, retiring in 1993. She was a bowler for 50 years, giving it up in 2015 at the age of 85. She was a die-hard Dallas Cowboy and Texas Rangers fan. She moved to Abilene in Dec. 2017.

Survivors include her sons, Roy Don Grisham of Abilene and Joe Ben Grisham of Eastland.

Her favorite Bible verse was II Timothy 4:7-8. I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
