Tea Party Patriots of Eastland County welcomes Justice David Schenck to the beautiful Myrtle Wilks Community Center, 1498 West I 20 in Cisco. The meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, December 9; doors open at 6:00.
Cisco College is excited to announce it is expanding its Associate of Science (AS) program in Math and Engineering.
Cisco Senior Nutrition Program is holding a raffle for the beautiful afghan made and donated by Jerry McBeth, this is a grannie rectangle and is 52”x60” in size. Tickets are $1.00 each for 6 for $5.00 if you are interested see Glenn Boles for Marcia Hale at Myrtle Wilks Community Center or Tammy Douglas at the Conrad Hilton Memorial Park Center at 309 Conrad Hilton Blvd. where the afghan will also be on display. Drawing will be held on Monday, December 20 at 10 am.
The annual Cisco Holly Jolly Lighted Christmas Parade was held on Thursday, December 2nd downtown Cisco. Thirty-seven entries to the parade ranged from Emergency vehicles to kiddos. Top Winners were Powerhouse Gym, Redeemer Childhood Learning Center, First Baptist Church all receiving a check for $250. Best in the Business Category went to The Balm Massage winning $150. Other category winners were Cisco Elementary Kindergarten and 2 nd Grade taking home $150 each. Cisco High School Cheerleaders also received a check for $150 as well the Cisco College Rodeo Team. The Cisco High School Mighty Lobo Band won a pizza party! We at the Chamber want to thank everyone who participated in the parade and all who came to watch the parade.
