CISCO CHAMBER OF COMMERCE-- Thanks to Joe Petree and Tim McKinney with the Cisco ISD school board for delivering food for the MANNA summer feeding program.
On August 10, 2020 at approximately 2:30 pm, officers with the Cisco Police Department assisted the Eastland County Adult Probation officers with a search of a residence located at 607 West 9th Street. Numerous items of contraband, as well as quantities of controlled substances were seized from the residence. Two individuals arrested on scene were identified as Stephen Michael Karle Dennis, 31 of Cisco and Rhianna Nichole Shepherd, 18 of Eastland. Both individuals charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance in Penalty Group 1. Bonds were set at $10, 000.00 each.
The Cisco Fire Department recieved notification of a Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program - COVID-19 Supplemental (AFG-S) award in the amount of $8,490.00 for Personnel Protective Equipment such as EMS gloves and N95 masks.
