There have been many great Cisco Lobo football games over a long span of time. In 1924 when Chigger Brown scored the touchdown to beat Abilene ranks high. Abilene high was a power house and got 2 in State in 1922 and won State in 1923, were 2 in 1927 and won State in 1928 and 1932. Abilene High and Breckenridge, as well as Eastland and Ranger were in the Oil Belt Conference. When Cisco went to the Semi- Finals in 1924 and 1925 when there was one State Champion had to be their greatest for that period. And in 1946 when Breckenridge beat Cisco at the end of the game 13-12 was another great team. Stanley Williams was 2 Team All-State and later made All-American. Breckenridge dominated the district and won it for 18 years; of course they dominated everyone in the 1950s, winning State 5 times.
