T time is over for U.S. military

The former USS Boulder, with its bow ramp already removed, sits in the Port of Brownsville while awaiting crews to begin dismantling it. The ship was decommissioned and scheduled for scrapping as the U.S. Navy purged itself of the LST vessels.
