The Clyde Lady Bulldogs scored nine runs in the bottom of the third inning on March 2 and rolled to a stunning 17-2 victory over the Eastland Lady Bulldogs in non-district softball action.

BATON ROUGE, LA (02/15/2024)-- Janalyn Boynton of Putnam, 76469, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Boynton was initiated at Texas A&M International University.
Northside Baptist Church located at 600 Ave C in Cisco has a new pastor as of January. Dwaine Clower who was a pastor previously at Mangum Baptist Church, Eastland for 10 years. While at Mangum, he started Lake Leon Baptist Church and pastored there also for 6 months until it reached 50 people in attendance. He then was called as pastor of Burket Baptist Church for 4 years, & pastor of Pioneer Baptist Church for 34 years. Dwaine was raised in Carbon, Tx.
