County Lions to hold Centennial Celebration

Mark your calendars: The three Eastland County Lions Clubs - Cisco, Eastland, and Ranger - all founded in 1922 - will be holding a joint centennial celebration on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at the Eastland Church of Christ beginning 4:00 p.m. Finger foods and cake will be served. The public is invited. Donations are welcome. Proceeds after costs will benefit the Texas Lions Camp for children. Please RSVP by July 11th to Lion Dean Vernon, president of the Eastland Lions Club. Speaker for the event will be Judge Steven Herod, 91st District Court. Business casual attire.

A Veterans Hall Dedication and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held at the Eastland County Courthouse in the basement on Friday afternoon. The halls are bright and honoring all military services.
