On 12/20/2021, Walmart reported a theft to the Eastland Police Department.

The Eastland Independent School District Board of Trustees will meet in called session Thursday, February 3, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., 209 West Main Street, Eastland Tx 76448. The following business will be considered:

A little over a year ago, the Eastland Police Department experimented with a police trading card program where law enforcement agencies across America have used with great success. This program is designed to create an avenue of communication between the police and the children in their community. This program is designed to break down any barriers or stereotypes that have been built by various sources of misinformation. “Sometimes it is hard to gauge how certain community relation programs will play out, but this police trading card program has been a tremendous success here in Eastland,” said Officer Edwards who is the Siebert Elementary Resource Officer.
