Rhonda Howie, Executive Director of the Eastland County Crisis Center, met with county commissioners at Monday’s, July 12, meeting. She discussed the court’s acceptance of the 2022 ECCC Children’s Advocacy Center’s contract. She expressed appreciation for the county’s continued support. Director Howie pointed out that even during the covid shutdown, the center did not stop services. “The staff did an amazing job,” she said. Judge Fields thanked the Center for all they do for county citizens. The county’s amount of support will be the same as last year, $11,000, it was noted.
