These three little words could conquer, cure or just take care of just about every situation. Those three little words were “I Love You”, and I must agree, they do cover a plethora of situations for us humans. The theme for the Summer Reading program at the library was Tails and Tales. In keeping with the theme, we decided to have the children participate in a drive for items needed at the local animal shelter. Most of the children who attended the summer events donated items. The children brought in blankets, sheets, food, food bowls, toys and other items for the animals throughout the month of June. Blake Pence, (animal services officer) was able to pick up the items (shown above) on Thursday. She appreciated all of the items that were donated and is excited to put them to use.
