JURY GIVES CISCO MAN 40 YEARS FOR MULTIPLE FELONY CHARGES

Yahel Eliyah McDaniel, 28, FORMALLY of Cisco, was convicted of five felony offenses and one misdemeanor offense by an Eastland County Jury ON MAY 5, 2021 IN THE 91ST DISTRICT COURT. McDaniel pled “Guilty” to the felony charges of Unauthorized use of Motor Vehicle, Evading Arrest or Detention with Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance: Methamphetamine more than 1 gram, but less 4 four grams, and the misdemeanor offense of Deadly Conduct, and chose the jury to set his punishment in all his cases. McDaniel entered a plea of “Not Guilty” to the more serious First-Degree offenses of Aggravated Assault Against a Public Servant – Deadly Weapon - Threaten and Aggravated Robbery. the jury, after hearing all the evidence, returned a quick verdict of “guilty” on all charges.
