2021 CAC “Create a Superhero” Contest Winner Chosen

The Eastland County Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is proud to announce 4th grade Eastland Maverick, Cynthia, as the First Place Winner in the “Create a Superhero” contest. Her superhero, Ember, was chosen from entries that came in from Eastland County 1st-5th graders and will be the official CAC theme logo for 2021-2022. In addition, she was awarded a prize package of movie tickets, pizza, and a gift card to Maxx Air in Abilene.

‘Passion of Christ’ performed Good Friday

Members of Eastland County’s Catholic churches, St. Rita’s in Ranger, St. Francis Xavier in Eastland and Holy Rosary in Cisco, performed “The Passion of Christ” live on Good Friday in an outdoor setting. The performance was well done and emotional, and is presented every year on Good Friday.
