Texas Vote Questioned on $1.1 Billion Bond

Recap: A $1.1 billion Dallas County Community College District (DCCCD) bond appeared to win a 71 per cent approval from voters on May 4, 2019. However, multiple poll watchers at the Dallas County central counting station say they documented numerous mistakes, irregularities and possible fraud in the vote tabulation process, rendering the results “unknowable.” Poll watcher Kirk Launius sued to have the election overturned, yielding three weeks of testimony in December in Dallas County’s 298th District Court.

Charles Reese’s Final Column

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why if all politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes?

How Big Is The Problem?

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), millions of high school students are victims of dating violence including physical violence, sexual violence, psychological aggression and stalking. The CDC also reports that only one-third of the victims ever told anyone about the abuse, which shows the importance for parents and adults to talk to teens about unhealthy relationships. It is also reported that 1 in3 teens in the US will experience abuse from someone they are in a relationship with before the age of 18.
