What’s going on in Community & Economic Development in Gorman, Texas…
Santa Claus is coming to Town… Yes, Santa will be making his annual visit to Gorman this Friday Dec 8. His first stop will downtown in the City Park at 5pm. Santa will be available to have pictures made ($2 each) and let him know what you want for Christmas! During this time there will be local live talent as well as the Ranger College Choir filling the air with Christmas carols. There will also be special presentation of the “I Sign for Noii” sign language class. Following pictures with Santa, there will be a Light Parade on Kent St. Ooooh & Aaaaahs will be non-stop as the lighted floats make their way down main street. Finishing up the evening will a live Nativity scene, a bake sale, ornament decorating, and the Eastland Cub Scouts will have their Polar Express running this evening!

Letters to Santa too…. There will be a special mailbox available at the festivities so you can bring your letters to Santa and mail them directly to the North Pole. And just in case you can’t make it to the Christmas Festival, Santa’s mailbox will be in City Hall until Dec 22.
