At a lunch for co-workers, Jill Hudson was recognized for her 13 years (on July 2nd) of dedicated employment for the City of Gorman. Jill is shown above with a cake presented to her at the luncheon. Everyone agreed that she will be hard to replace! Jill has excepted a position with the DeLeon Housing Authority. We wish her all the best in her new job.
B&G Mercantile is a locally owned lumber, and home good’s store in Gorman. The owners are Blake and Toni Briscoe, and Blake’s brother-inlaw, and sister Bill and Susan Greenwood. They bought the store 12 years ago, and have added on and improved since. Blake’s favorite part about the job is being able to meet new people and help the customers. B&G has a wide variety of merchandise and everything a customer could want for their construction needs and more. By Brooke Reep
