The Walnut Spring Hornets scored late in the second half on Thursday and then held on to grab a nail-biting 49-48 win over the Ranger Bulldogs in the 2023 season opener.
The Ranger High School Lady Bulldogs will swing into full volleyball mode this weekend when they travel to Strawn to participate in the annual Lady Greyhound Volleyball Tournament. RANGER CHEER TEAMS-- It was another busy day for the Ranger Cheer teams. We started off the day with some stunting and pyramid building! We combined our teams for these sessions and are very proud of our results!

Ranger College’s new mens basketball coach, Zack Verhulst, expressed his enthusiasm about stepping-in to lead the team to another great year. He was assistant coach on T.J. Cox’s staff as the Rangers’ qualified for the 2022-2023 NJCAA Men’s Division National Basketball Tournament. Coach Cox accepted a position with Northwestern State University in Louisiana.
