The Mineral Wells Community Christian Warriors reeled off an 18-0 start in the first quarter on Nov. 15 and then held on to claim a 58-22 win over the Ranger Bulldogs in non-district boys’ basketball action.
Kirsten Fox pumped in 22 points and Katelyn Sanchez added 20 more last Tuesday and helped the Ranger Lady Bulldogs kick off their 2022-23 season with a lopsided 48-7 romp over the Luders-Avoca Lady Raiders.
The Ranger Bulldogs closed out their 2022 season on Friday with a 56-18 loss to the Centex Homeschool Chargers at Mean Joe Green Field in Temple.
Playing without several injured starters, the Ranger Bulldogs suffered another big blow on Thursday night by dropping a 52-6 decision to the Priddy Pirates.
