Jose (Joseph) Angel Ballesteros, Jr. passed away peacefully into the loving arms of our heavenly father on Monday, January 25, 2021, at the young age of 38.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Ranger College President, William J. Campion said the college would do everything in its power to protect its students and prevent the spread of the highly contagious disease. Last week, Campion – and the RC Board of Regents – showed exactly how far they would go to ensure the safety of their students by canceling the preseason basketball schedule for the nationally-ranked men’s basketball team.
Ranger Chief of Police Luna would like to welcome our newest Officer to Ranger Police Department Elizabeth Wristen. She comes to us with a great deal of experience and she is excited about serving our community. If you see her around stop and say hi.
