Lady Panthers run to 11th at Brownwood Invite

The Gorman Lady Panthers continued to shine on the trails this season. The squad raced its way to 11th overall at the Brownwood Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. Overall, the GHS girls were 11th in the 18-team field. Hadli Hampton paced the Lady Panthers in the race. She finished the race in 77th position. IN all, more than 200 girls competed in the varsity girls’ division. Delila Crain

Ranger Lions enjoy W.K. Gordon Museum Presentation; View Texas Spurs Display

Mary Adams, W.K. Gordon Museum Director and Curator of Collections, gave an interesting presentation about the museum and research center at Ranger Lions Club’s August 10th meeting. She also arranged a captivating display of spurs, which were part of the 2022 “Texas Spurs and the Artists Who Created Them” exhibit. The spurs belong to the Hugh Edmondson Collection.
