Ranger Independent School District is excited to announce the hiring of Mr. Donald Hughes as interim superintendent. Mr. Hughes retired from Eastland I.S.D. after serving over forty years in public education. Mr. Hughes will be assisting the school board searching for a permanent superintendent while carrying out the duties of superintendent. The Bulldogs are grateful for Mr. Hughes assistance during this transition.

Water District President Steve Gerdes Speaks At Lions Club

“I’m proud to be part of the team,” Steve Gerdes, president of the Eastland County Water Supply District board of directors since 2015, told Ranger Lions Club at a recent meeting. The team is comprised of ECWSD Board, district superintendent, operators, staff and additional partners, including the County Judge and Commissioners Court, and financial partner First Financial Bank, Gerdes informed.
