Another beautiful Winter Sunset in Eastland County

Beautiful sunsets are an inspiration to many in the winter months. This winter so far Texas has been unseasonably warm with temperatures even reaching the 80s at times. Have we ever had a winter this warm? Actually, looking through our archives and reviewing end-of-the year articles by feature writer Viola Payne, who wrote for Eastland County newspapers for many years, we see that there have been other unseasonably warm and dry winter months and challenging times, which in the end we overcame. Please read 2006 - THE CHALLENGING YEAR on page A 4. Those of us who experienced the beginning of 2006 will never forget it.
