Despite a 1-4 start to the season, the Eastland Mavericks always knew their offense was going to be able to move the ball when the games really started to count. They proved that on Friday night in their District 5-3A opener against the Millsap Bulldogs.
The Olden Community Center will hold its regular hot country meal and fine classic music that many of us grew up listening to. We invite you to come out to Olden on October 16th, and spend an enjoyable evening. This month we will be serving meatloaf, pinto beans, mashed potatoes, cornbread and a drink. With a variety of delicious desserts.
Harmony Baptist Church (126 County Road 334 , Eastland) would like to announce this event coming up on Sunday, October 31st at 6:00 pm. We will be having a community campfire (all are welcome) with hotdogs and Trunk or Treat. The public is invited to drop in for a short visit, or spend the whole evening with us!

Eastland County 4-H youth “One Day 4-H” project this Saturday morning was packing care boxes for our local DPS Troopers and Texas Rangers who sacrifice so much for our safety everyday and spend time away from home to protect the border and our great State of Texas. 4-H wants to say “Thank You” to all DPS Troopers and Texas Rangers. You are our Heros!
