Mark your calendar for the 4th Annual Miles for Meals 5K (formerly Old Rip 5K) benefiting the Eastland Meals on Wheels at Siebert Elementary School. Miles for Meals 5K run will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 8am.
(EASTLAND, TEXAS)—Beginning August 2, 2021, Eastland County Museum will present Lonesome Dove, an exhibition produced by the Wittliff Collections at the Alkek Library, Texas State University, presented in partnership with Humanities Texas, the state affiliate for the National Endowment for the Humanities.

AUSTIN – The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) commissioned 145 new Texas Highway Patrol Troopers from its A-2021 recruit class during a graduation ceremony on Friday, July 30. It’s the largest recruit school graduation in DPS history and also one of the most diverse.
We filled the bus! It was quite a bit of supplies and $245 of cash donations. Thank you to everyone who participated in this good cause. There was a raffle for those that sunk a hole in one on the corn hole board and the winners of two of the $25 cash and prizes was Natalie Burge and Pete Loftin and winner of the $50 and prizes was Danny Boyd.
