Children’s Art Contest to Benefit Children
Stephenville, TX – CASA for the Cross Timbers Area is seeking art entries for its inaugural ‘Open Your Hearts’ campaign benefiting abused and neglected children in Bosque, Eastland, Erath and Hamilton counties. CASA CTA will use the winning art entry as the main focus of its upcoming fundraising campaign.
CITY OF CARBON
CITY OF CARBON-- Monday night at the City of Carbon (population 255) became the 20th City in the nation to pass an enforceable ordinance outlawing abortion within their city limits. The vote was unanimous! Not one person spoke in opposition to the ordinance. Mayor Corey Hull believes that this was one of the moments in life that he was born for.
