Peanut Queen Qualifications

The Pageant and Coronation will be held, September 2nd at 6:00 pm at the Elementary Auditorium. Each crowned winner will need to be able to participate in the Peanut Festival Parade on September 11th @ 4:00 P.M. The Pageant will consist of a casual outfit that represents the contestant’s personality and style, with questions to be asked/ answered. Followed by the second outfit being a gown/dress of choice and reading of essay submission.

Roxanna Phillips sat with Margaret of Eastland County Today in the newly added dinning area at Cajun Taste cafe recently to talk about the cafe and future plans for this new business in Gorman. Roxanna’s husband Travis constructed the spacious dinning area, she said.
