From Eastland County Sheriff’s Department
On Thursday, March 17th, 2022 multiple fires erupted throughout Eastland County. One of the fires crossed into Carbon, Texas where multiple law enforcement agencies assisted with traffic control and evacuations while fire departments diligently fought the massive fires that were moving rapidly across the area.
FROM THE GORMAN MAYOR
Hot and cold, I think I’m ready for some consistency. But that will never happen in Texas. What can happen though is that everyone can mow their weeds and any grass that is too high. I drove around town over the weekend, and we are looking pretty shaggy. It’s been nice this winter not having to worry about mowing, but that time is over. Please take the initiative and start cleaning up.
