Larry Bethke, 90 years of age, is determined to make an art gallery for Gorman. Larry has been working on the gallery for 3 years. He has beautiful wild flowers in front of the building that he planted and inside the front of the building he hopes to transform the space into an art gallery. Plans for this informative message to be hosted by the Gorman Church of Christ have been postponed until further notice due to the epidemic conditions and state guidelines. Invitations were recently mailed to families living in the Gorman and DeLeon area.
Gorman City Commission held a meeting on Thursday, April 2 for the first time in quite a while at the Gorman Community Center. Work on the center is still in progress, but the renovation is nearing its completion. The renovations are certainly looking great and the center will be a real asset to the community.
