Lady Rangers win District 2 title, advance to NJCAA national tournament

The Ranger College women’s golf team wouldn’t let high winds or a rough course stand in their way over the weekend. They rallied from a 2-stroke deficit over the final 18 holes to claim the District 2 golf championship on Saturday at the Sammy Baugh Golf Course in Snyder.

Even though the Ranger College men’s and women’s basketball teams are in the midst of pushing for postseason playoff berths of their own, there will be plenty of local eyes on the 2021 NCAA March Madness basketball championship. Mainly because a pair of former RC standouts will be trying to help their new teams past the first round of the 68-team tournament.
