Early Basketball Tourneys

The Eastland Lady Mavs finished the Breckenridge Basketball Tournament 4-0 this past weekend for a Tournament Championship. The Lady Mavs defeated the host school Breckenridge Lady Bucks in the last game of the bracket for the title win. Hannah Jordan was selected from the team for the All-Tournament team. She is #23 on Coach Doyle’s left. The Lady Mavs have begun district play and will have their HOME district opener on Friday, December 20 vs. the Dublin Lady Lions.

Early Basketball Tourneys

The Cisco Loboes finished the Breckenridge Basketball Tournament 4-0 this past weekend for a Tournament Championship. The Loboes defeated the host school Breckenridge Buckaroos in the last game of the bracket, 53-46, for the title win. Cisco will play in the Brownwood Holiday Classic after Christmas before starting district play, which will be Friday, January 3 @ the Early Longhorns.

The Cisco Lady Loboes got some pre-district work in the Lipan Tournament over the weekend. Sophia Hurtado (32) runs the offense for the Lady Loboes.

The Gorman Lady Panthers fell to the Hico Lady Tigers, 31-25, in a hard-fought championship game to take home 2nd place in the Gorman Hot Hoops Tournament this past weekend in Gorman. All Tournament selections were Kelsie Guthery (12) and Gabby Herrera (00). Congratulations to the Lady Panthers on a great tournament.
