The Eastland County Crisis Center is having its annual Pancake Breakfast and Airplane Fly-In at the Eastland Municipal Airport on Saturday, May 1st from 9:00am - 12:00 pm in conjunction with the Eastland Chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). This family-friendly event will be free to the public with any donations going to the Crime Victims Assistance Center (CVAC).
COUNTY 4-H PROJECTS: 4-H Shooting Sports practice is underway. This 4-H project teaches firearm safety and basic skills to youth with trained volunteer leaders. For more information to participate or how to become a volunteer call 254-629-2222.
The Eastland Centennial Memorial Library will have a book sale beginning Tuesday, April 20th. The book sale will last until Thursday, April 29th. We have fiction, nonfiction and children’s books available. Hardback books are $1.00 and paperback books are 25 cents. We do take debit/ credit cards.
