Eastland Student receives Aviation Scholarship

Set in stone - fortunately one can say, Gorman’s Peanut Festival is held on the second Saturday of September. Gorman’s 37th Annual Peanut Festival took place this weekend - with some threat of storms. As it turned out, the storms kept a few miles distance the long anticipated parade was not Rained On! Above, favorites of the parade - 2023 Miss Gorman - Ceidy Guzman (Top L.), Jr. Miss Gorman - Ellie Duske, Little Miss Gorman - Paisley Rainey, and 2023 Peanut Queen Kyndall Scitern (top R.) wave from the Gorman Chamber of Commerce float at the crowd gathered to enjoy the parade and many other activities throughout the day and evening.
