Eastland Lions Club proudly honored Student of the Month Jesus Lopez and Audrey Ivey at their recent meeting and presented a Texas Lions Camp Life Membership to Judge Steven Herod, who has always been a strong supporter of the Lions Camp.

Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Cisco will host a Groundbreaking Ceremony for construction of a new Parish Hall on Saturday, November 19, 2022. The new Parish Hall will be built on properties purchased eight years ago on the southwest corner of 11th Street and Avenue F. Our Church, a simple frame construction, was dedicated to the Queen of the Holy Rosary on April 17, 1921, and the building that currently serves as the Parish Hall was originally built as a Rectory in January 1927, at a cost of $3,450. While we love our familiar and comfortable Parish Hall that we have used for nearly 100 years, it is now time to expand and improve. The new Parish Hall will be approximately 4,400 square feet in size with a large kitchen area.
EASTLAND, TX – The Nancy Seaberry Frost Arts Endowment (NSF Arts ) is celebrating 24 years of making music throughout rural Texas. Generous friends of music have made possible hundreds of music scholarships for school children and concerts for schools and communities.

Main St, Eastland. This free session is open to the public. Bring a pot luck dish to share or your own lunch and learn how to be a successful hostess, develop a party plan, feed a crowd and more great party ideas.
