In keeping with Eastland ISD’s practices to respond to COVID-19, we are notifying all families and staff members that a student who was lab-confirmed to have COVID-19 was present on the campus of Eastland Middle School on Monday, September 21, 2020. Due to privacy requirements, we will not be releasing the name of the individual or details that may identify him or her.
The Texas Transportation Commission approved approximately $300,000 in funding for the Eastland Municipal Airport at its August meeting.

Fall planting is underway. Texas A & M extension agents TJ Cummings, Amy Glenn and volunteer Levi Freeman planted fall beds of radish, spinach, swiss, chard, turnips, butternut squash, fennel, carrots and kale a garden near the Eastland First United Methodist Church.
