Ranger Teachers recognized by Ranger ISD, State of Texas

Texas teachers are doing incredible, important work, and they deserve to be recognized for it. Ranger ISD, alongside the Texas Teacher Incentive Allotment Program, is working to reward teachers who make a difference in our students’ lives every day.

Ranger’s Sales Tax Revenue Allocation shows Increase

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced he will send cities, counties, transit systems and special purpose districts $1.2 billion in local sales tax allocations for May, 0.4 percent more than in May 2023, based on sales made in March by businesses that report Ranger’s sales tax revenue’s net payment this period is $48,169.06. Compared to the prior year’s payment of $46,718.75, a 3.10 % change. Ranger’s year to date payment of $256,072.29, compared to last year’s ytd payment of $201,406.34, shows a 27.14% (positive) change in the rate. Ranger’s sales tax allocation rate is 2.000%.
