It has been almost three years since defendants in the Cisco Country Club case were notified they were being sued to obtain their consent to a proposal by Brecha Roja, LLC, to acquire the CCC property. During this time an increasing number of defendants and other interested persons have asked me about the status of this litigation. Rather than continuing to respond to these requests individually, it’s more efficient to provide those of you whose e-mail addresses I have with an update on the case and its possible future directions.

Cisco Lion’s Club Welcomes New Members

The Cisco Lion’s Club held their monthly meeting on Wednesday, September 8 at the Dairy Queen in Cisco. Two members were welcomed by the club. Husband and wife, Roger and Jannette Barritt of Cisco. Pictured are Jannette Barritt, Ben Hanlon, President of the club, and Roger Barritt. If you would like to get involved in helping your community, you’re welcome to join the Cisco Lion’s Club. We meet as the DQ the second Wednesday of each month at 12 noon. The Dairy Queen is located at 2101 Conrad Hilton Blvd in Cisco. Hope to see you at the next meeting.

Sight For All

The Cisco Lion’s Club is hosting a FREE public eye examination on Thursday, October 14th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Conrad Hilton Center located at 309 Conrad Hilton Blvd. in Cisco. Screening for eye diseases such as Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration, Diabetic Retinopathy, Amblyopia better known as Lazy Eye, as well as the need for glasses. FREE glasses may be provided for some! Must meet qualifications. All are welcome to attend.
