Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Abilene and The Big Country Warns: Shoppers, be aware of holiday gift return policies

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! As you buy gifts, party supplies, new outfits, etc., make sure you are aware of return policies. With some exceptions, such as defective items, merchants are not obligated to accept returns or make exchanges. They set their own return policies and may tighten them during the holidays to combat fraudulent returns, such as returning stolen or previously used items.
