The Cisco Lady Loboes journeyed to Albany on January 29 to take on the Albany Lady Lions. Cisco came home with the victory, 59-28.
The Cisco Loboes added a pair of wins to their District 10-leading total this past week.
The District 10-leading Haskett Indians came to town on January 26 and upended the Cisco Lady Loboes, 59-49.
Layne Edgar started the game on fire, netting nine points in the first eight minutes of play en route to helping Cisco build a 20-10 lead. Edgar added nine more oints in the second quarter as the Loboes raced to a commanding 41-20 advantage at halftime.
The Cisco Lady Loboes faced off with the Anson on Tuesday, Jan. 19, and battled their way to a 58-45 victory. Both teams were cold from the field in the opening minutes of the District 10-2A showdown. Cisco knocked down a bucket late in the first quarter and took an 8-7 lead. The offenses opened up in the second quarter. The two teams combined for 27 second-quarter points. Fortunately for the Lady Loboes, 16 of that total went in their direction. Cisco grabbed a 26-19 lead at halftime.
