EFD members honor Simmons’ sacrifice with Memorial Service Saturday

Greg Simmons was remembered as a guy who loved his family and treasured the opportunity to keep his friends and fellow Eastland County residents safe as a member of the Eastland Fire Department. On Saturday morning, 10 years after his untimely death while battling a large fire on County Road 323, the members of the EVF returned that love by staging a memorial service in his honor in the fire station.

Wanted Person Arrested in Ranger

On Wednesday 04/14/2021 at approx. 11:35 am The Eastland County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous crime stoppers tip with the whereabouts of wanted person Nickolas Winn Clark. The tipster stated that Clark was currently at the North Austin Acre Apartments in Ranger.

April declared Child Abuse Prevention Month
