A special meeting of the members of Carbon Community Center will be held at the Community Center on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM. The purpose of the meeting is to confirm or elect directors, officers and trustees for 2020. Action will also be taken regarding authorizing the trustees of Carbon Community Center to deed to the Carbon Community Baptist Church the building and property listed below pursuant to Article XI of the Articles of Association by a majority vote of the members, said property being:
Jerry Choate of Cisco, pictured right, the owner of JT Quilt Shop, has been sewing in the evenings making masks for whom ever needs them. Her basket in front of the store reads: “Please take a mask to help protect you. Wear it to the grocery store or any essential place you need to go.“STAY SAFE AND PRAY”. Donations for the masks are being accepted. Thank you Mrs. Choate for the masks for Eastland and Carbon Post office employees. They are very much appreciated. By: Sheila Hickox
