On January 18th, 1985 Bryans Auto Supply was opened by Bryan Jackson, his wife Tina Jackson, his mom Kay Jackson, and his father Bertie Jackson. The store was originally opened near the newspaper in Eastland, but are now located at 925 E Main. The Jacksons are passionate about serving the public with a kind heart, and will welcome you with a friendly smile. Happy Retirement Rick!

After 39 years of working at the Eastland post office Rick Wende officially retired on April 2, 2020. Before working at the post office Rick originally worked at Victor Cornelius, when it was a printing shop. He decided he wanted to serve the public, and a job opening became available in 1990 with the Post Office. He says the most enjoyable part about working there was the fact that he could meet new people and take care of their postal needs. By: Brooke Reep

No new confirmed Cases in County

While the metropolitan areas of Texas have been dealing with escalating cases of the COVID-19 virus, Eastland County did not report any new cases of the flu-like virus last week, according to officials at Eastland Memorial Hospital.
